My red-headed girl gets this every summer as well. I keep swat around the left eye, as well as a fly mask, wet compresses, then if it gets bad enough, flush with saline and ... crap, I can't remember the ointment. Some dog eye ointment that I get through Drs Foster and Smith. My trainer and I think it's a combination of dirt and flys.
UGHHHHHH. Dino did this to me in the spring and I just flushed the crap out of it with saline and then it was fine. Archie. Stahp with the maiming yourself.
Dear Archie, please stop driving your mama crazy. Stay healthy and out of trouble for at least...well just see how long you can, okay? Love, Blogger-Auntie Sarah

ReplyDeleteThat was in no way sarcastic.
Now it sounds sarcastic because I said that, but it's not.
Just stahp. Both of you. Him with the getting injured and you with the reading sarcasm into everything I say.
